Tim, should you have some time for television, two series of Wimsey mysteries have been done, one in the 1970s, starring Ian Carmichael, and another in the... early '90s, I think, starring Edward Petherbridge. The first series did only the pre-Harriet stories, while the second includes their romance. I favor Petherbridge in the role; he seems more true to the descriptions in the books, but they're both a lot of fun. In some ways s...I love Dorothy Sayers' writing! In some ways she is better than Agatha. (For mystery fans, no last name is needed. :) ) And as I recall, Ms. Sayers was a friend of the Inklings. Yes, Have His Carcase is one of her best.
